home was told by a Soldier's Wife that a Child was laid<lb></lb>

Mr. Timbury's Door and there saw several people about a Child, lying in a<lb></lb>
piece of Printed Linnen, which appeared to be Bloody<lb></lb>
Says that she put her hands upon the Child's Head which<lb></lb>
was quite Cold, and believes that the. Child was dead</p>

Ground Floor in the same House, Says that the Woman<lb></lb>
Warmed the. Beer and put some Nutines therein, and<lb></lb>
drank it, after which the Woman complained of a<lb></lb>
pain around her Loyns, and seemed to be very uneasy<lb></lb>
and sat upon a Solder's Horse, Says that she staid there<lb></lb>
about half an hour, and then went away, Says that<lb></lb>
she stood in Blaw Anchor Yard the same Night about<lb></lb>
Seven o' Clock and saw the same Woman to whom she<lb></lb>
had carried the Beer come out of the House in which<lb></lb>
she lodged, with another woman dressed in a long<lb></lb>
Red Cardinal Woman without the Cardinal having a<lb></lb>
small Bundle that looked white in her Hands, but<lb></lb>
when she was come out threw her Apron over it, Says<lb></lb>
that they walked a few Yards together, and that the<lb></lb>
woman to whom Dept. fetched the Beer, gave the Bundle<lb></lb>
to the other Woman, who put her Cardinal over it,<lb></lb>

the Street at the Corner of the Broad Way and came<lb></lb>
back so far as Mr. Timbury's Door where she put down<lb></lb>
a Bundle, which looked like that she took from the<lb></lb>
other Woman, Says that the Woman gave two gentle<lb></lb>
Knocks at Mr. Timbury's Door and then walked on<lb></lb>
a little way further on that side of the Street, Crossed<lb></lb>
the Street and went in again to the House which she<lb></lb>
came out of in <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65211_geo250">Blew Anchor Yard</rs>

very few Minutes she heard a Child cry, and asked<lb></lb>
the Woman at the Milk Cellar if it was her Child that<lb></lb>
cryd, to which the Woman Answered that it was not,<lb></lb>
nor could this Dept. certainly say where the Cry came<lb></lb>
from, but believes it was on the opposite side of the way,<lb></lb>
and the cry of the Child in the Bundle at Mr. Timbury's<lb></lb>
Door, Says that Mrs. Godfrey was then at the Milk Celler<lb></lb>
and said that she heard a Child Cry and thought it must<lb></lb>
be over the Way, in the hearing of the Woman at the<lb></lb>
Milk Cellar, That Mr. Godfrey immediately went to<lb></lb>
Mr. Timbury's Door, and Dept. followed, that a <rs type="occupation" id="WACWIC65211_occ80">Soldier</rs>

came<lb></lb>
next with a Candle and was followed by Mrs. Cochran<lb></lb>
Says that Mrs. Godfrey opened the Linnen in which<lb></lb>
the Deced was Wrapt, and felt the Child's Head and<lb></lb>
said it was Warm, and Mrs. Cockran said the same,<lb></lb>
And the Dept. says that she has several times lately seen the Woman<lb></lb>
for whom she fetched the Beer last Saturday, that she<lb></lb>
appeared to be very big and Dept. thought her to be<lb></lb>
with Child, and said that a Woman who lodges in the<lb></lb>
same House lately told Dept. that she believed that Woman<lb></lb>
was with Child, Says that she saw the Woman<lb></lb>
yesterday in the same Room that she gave her the<lb></lb>
Beer in, on Saturday, and that she did not look so<lb></lb>
big as she did on Saturday.</p>
