the Deced was brought to said<lb></lb>
Hospital as an Accident on Thursday the Eighth day of<lb></lb>
this instant Decr. between ten & Eleven o'Clock in the<lb></lb>
forenoon when he appeared to Dept. to be in Liquor<lb></lb>
Says that he Examined the Deced and found a superficial<lb></lb>
Wound on the left side of his Head and the parts around<lb></lb>
the wound much Bruised, Says that he Enquired<lb></lb>
how Deced reced the Wound and was told by some People<lb></lb>
that came with Deced to the Hospital that<del>it was by</del>
<lb></lb>
a fall down an Area, That the Deced was not<lb></lb>
sensible when he was brought to said Hospital, but was<lb></lb>
Sensible The next Morning, and then complained of<lb></lb>
a pain in his Arm, but had no apparent Hurt or Brui<obscured></obscured>
<lb></lb>
any where but on the Head, Says that Deced continued<lb></lb>
to be Sensible for three or four Days, and then grew<lb></lb>
delirious, and died in said Hospital on or about the<lb></lb>
Seventeenth day of the same Month, Says that he<lb></lb>
opened the Deced's Head on Monday the 19th. and found<lb></lb>
a large Quantity of matter between the Sealp and the<lb></lb>
Pericranium, under the Wound, and around it, and<lb></lb>
a pretty large Quantity of extravasated Blood upon the Brain<lb></lb>
in the back part of the Head, and says that the<lb></lb>
Extravasation of the Blood was alone sufficient to<lb></lb>
cause the Deced's Death, which Extravasation was caused by the<lb></lb>
Shock or Concussion that the Head received, And<lb></lb>
says that during the time Deced was in his Senses in<lb></lb>
said Hospital he did not complain of having reced</p>
