he saw the Deced in the Water and near the Shore that runs to the<lb></lb>
Sluice that the deced Sunk into a Hole and the Deponent from his<lb></lb>
knowledge of the Shore there apprehended the deced would naturally<lb></lb>
be carried by the Current to the Wall of the Sluice, that he thereupon<lb></lb>
immediately went there and watched his coming, and shipped and<lb></lb>
used his last endeavour to save him, that he preceived his Legs and<lb></lb>
pulled but on account of a large Stone lying on the Wall he could<lb></lb>
not pull him out untill he had with great difficulty and some</p>
