Oath saith that when the Deceased was brought into the Hospital which was about<lb></lb>
three weeks since the Bones of her left Leg were Fractured and the Flech la<obscured></obscured>
rated<lb></lb>
in such manner as one of the Bones came through, the Right Leg violently<lb></lb>
Bruised and Wounded in two parts, she was the Whole time to two days before her<lb></lb>
Death in a continual Fever which is usual in such cases, and two days before<lb></lb>
her Death was seized with Convulsion fits, in one of which she expired on<lb></lb>
Sunday the 17th. of July instant about 3 o'Clock in the Morning, and he apprehended<lb></lb>
that the said Fever occasioned by the said Fractures Wounds and Bruises were the<lb></lb>
Cause of her Death, and he further saith that during the time the Deced was in the<lb></lb>
Hospital she was mostly in her Senses.</p>

to drink a Pint of Beer<lb></lb>
and saw the Deced on the Marguiss of Granby's side of the Road going to<lb></lb>
cross, she had a Child in her Arms, the Dept. saw the Exeter & Plymouth<lb></lb>
Stage drawn by four horses coming into Town between Six & seven in<lb></lb>
the Evenings, saw the Offside leader Horse run full against the Woman<lb></lb>
and Child and pushed her down and with the force the Horses received<lb></lb>
a Check and seemed to stop, that the Coachman then whipped the Horses and<lb></lb>
made them go on, that the Dept. Saw the Off hind Wheel of the Carriage<lb></lb>
go over one of the Legs of the deced, that some Persons took the Deced up<lb></lb>
and brought her into the Marquiss of Granby's aforesaid and this Deponent<lb></lb>
assisted in carrying her to <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65208_geo1032">St. George's Hospital</rs>

Evening to look for the Coachman in <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65208_geo1033">Friday Street</rs>

, that he appeared to be<lb></lb>
in Liquor, that he said he believed that Off Wheel had pushed a Woman<lb></lb>
down with a Child in a White frock, that the Dept. answered it was his Offside<lb></lb>
leader," and he then said it was, he said he turned his Head round and<lb></lb>
"saw the off fore Wheel clear of her, and he thought the hind Wheel might,"<lb></lb>
says that the Coachman behaved in an impudent manner. Dept. is informed<lb></lb>
the Coachman's Name is Harris.</p>

she never enter'd into Conversation with the Deced relative to the manner<lb></lb>
in which the Accident happened neither did the Deced herself say anything<lb></lb>
upon that Subject to this Dept., other than that she endangered herself more by<lb></lb>
endeavouring to save the Child, nor this Dept. did not hear her converse with any<lb></lb>
other Parish about it, says the Deced was Sensible.</p>
