Maker on his Oath saith, that about half an hour after<lb></lb>
seven o'Clock this Morning Dept. being in his own Room<lb></lb>
saw through his window a small Wooden Box lying upon<lb></lb>
a Tomb Stone in the <rs type="placeName" id="WACWIC65206_geo1807">Churchyard of the Parish of St. Margaret<lb></lb>

. and several Boys around the Tombstone, Says that<lb></lb>
he wait there immediately and found a part of the<lb></lb>
Box did broke, through which Dept. looked into the Box<lb></lb>
and found therein a New born Male Child (being the<lb></lb>
same now Shown to Mr. Harris the <rs type="occupation" id="WACWIC65206_occ602">Surgeon</rs>

), which was<lb></lb>
Dead, but Dept. observed no Marks of violence upon the<lb></lb>
said Child, Says that the said Child was soon after carried<lb></lb>
to the Watchhouse of said Parish and left there Dept. having<lb></lb>
the Key in his Pocket, And this Dept. says that thereas<lb></lb>
informed by some People in the Churchyard that the said<lb></lb>
Child was first found on the Ground between the said Tombstone<lb></lb>
& the Iron Rails inclosing the Church Yard.</p>
