maketh Oath that between one and two<gap reason="illegible"></gap>

Yesterday Morning Dept. being a Sleep was awakened by<lb></lb>
a noise of something falling Dept. went out of his Room<lb></lb>
and met Mr. Eaton on the landing place of the two pair<lb></lb>
of Stairs Mr. Eaton sayed where are you Richard (means<lb></lb>
the deced who was Servant to him) Dept. went down one<lb></lb>
pair of Stairs and upon the landing place of the one pair<lb></lb>
of Stairs he found the deced Dept. having called for a<lb></lb>
Light which was brought he asked the deced is he could<lb></lb>
stand he sayed no far Gods sake let<del>taken</del>
me alone Dept.<lb></lb>
observed closed on the landing place and blood came<lb></lb>
from the back part of the deceds head Dept. endeavoured<lb></lb>
to lift the deced up but he was unable Mr. Eaton came<lb></lb>
down and Dept. went for a Surgeon soon after a <rs type="occupation" id="LMCLIC65009_occ33">Surgeon</rs>

came who upon examining<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
the deced sayed he was dead<lb></lb>
the Surgeon examined the deced as to the injury he had reced and found that he had a<lb></lb>
cut or Wound in the Pole of his Neck & that his Neck<lb></lb>
was dislocated.</p>

maketh Oath that between one and two oClock yesterday Morning<lb></lb>
Dept. being alarmed by or (at being in his Room and having a particular<lb></lb>
a version to Cats the rang his Bell for the Servant that soon after<lb></lb>
he heard something fall very heavy on the Stairs and heard a person<lb></lb>
Groan Dept. went out of his Room the two pair of Stairs and stood<lb></lb>
on the landing place & called Richard the deced sayed here I am<lb></lb>
Dept. called again & then went down to the one pair of Stairs<lb></lb>
landing place & found the deced in the manner described by<lb></lb>
the last Witness. Dept. asked the deced where he was hurt the<lb></lb>
deced sayed in his pole.</p>
