was passing along the Gun Shale of a Barge that lay<lb></lb>
the third Barge from the Wharf. for the purpose of<lb></lb>
comeing to the Barge Dept. was in to apist Dept.<lb></lb>
that while Dept.<del>being</del>

in pulling<lb></lb>
the Barge Dept. was in nigher the Wharf his Back<lb></lb>
being towards the deced<del>Dept</del>
he heard something fall into the<lb></lb>
Water you looking round Dept. saw the deced in the<lb></lb>
Water-that no person was in the Barge the deced had<lb></lb>
fell from-that the hide running up the River very<lb></lb>
strong carried the deced under some Craft that were<lb></lb>
lying near were he had fell over and Dept. saw no more<lb></lb>
of him at the time-Dept has seen the deced<del>being</del>
this<lb></lb>
evening lying dead at the poor house of <rs type="placeName" id="LMCLIC65005_geo1841">St. Brides</rs>
