what manner the said John Gromant came to his death say upon their Oath that<lb></lb>
who said John Gromant not being of sound mind memory and understanding<lb></lb>
but lunatic and distracted on the nineteenth day of July in the year aforesaid<lb></lb>
one end of a certain peice of Cord unto and about a certain Iron Staple fixed in<lb></lb>
the Wall in a certain room belonging to the dwelling house of one <rs type="persName" id="LMCLIC65005_n343-14">Richard Deeme</rs>

neck did then and there fix tie and fasten by means whereof he the said John<lb></lb>
Gromant did then and there hang and strangle and suffocate himself by Means of<lb></lb>
which said hanging Strangling he the<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
John Gromant did then and there die<lb></lb>
And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said John Gromant<lb></lb>
not being of sound mind memory and understanding but lunatic and distracted did hang and kill himself In Witness<lb></lb>
whereof as well the said Coroner as the said <rs type="persName" id="LMCLIC65005_n343-15">Edward Beetham</rs>
