of Redemption. And pursuant to that Agreement<lb></lb>
they were Admitted into ye. Freedome of this Compa.<lb></lb>
and accordingly paid ye. usuall Fees.</p>
<p n="671">And this day attended on ye. Lord Mayor and<lb></lb>
Court of Aldermen to have their admissions into<lb></lb>
the Freedome of the Citty and of this Company as<lb></lb>
aforesaid, But there was Objection made thereto<lb></lb>
by Colo. Peirce of ye. Custome house who Farms.<lb></lb>
the Alniaye Duly of ye. Citty and Declard it<lb></lb>
would be two or three hundred Pounds P Amnd<lb></lb>
to his prejudice, and that he should not be able<lb></lb>
to hold his Lease and pay his Rent for the<lb></lb>
Same, If they were admitted. Whereupon Councell<lb></lb>
was heard on both sides, And a Debate arising<lb></lb>
thereupon amongst ye. Court of Aldermen, The<lb></lb>
Gentn. aforemenconed were Ordered to withdraw,<lb></lb>
and being calld in again, The Court Acquainted<lb></lb>
them that they would not then admitt them<lb></lb>
into ye. Freedome of ye. Citty, for the Reasons<lb></lb>
aforesaid.</p>
