In pursuance of the Resolution of the last General Court<lb></lb>
the Court took into consideration the Recommendations of a<lb></lb>
Joint Meeting of the House and Prison Committees of the 14th<lb></lb>
of April last, " That instead of the Antient Salary of £100<lb></lb>
"per Annum paid to the Steward of Bridewell, and an allowance<lb></lb>
"of forty two pounds per Annum for Keeping the Accounts of<lb></lb>
"Both Hospitals, he be paid a Salary of One hundred and eighty<lb></lb>
"Pounds per Annum for the whole, to commence from Lady day<lb></lb>
"last, and to be charged to Bridewell Hospital, and that the<lb></lb>
"allowance of Eight pence for each Meal or days provision for the<lb></lb>
" Prisoners, made so long ago as the Year 1773, should be increased.<lb></lb>
"to Nine pence".</p>

Resolved that this Court do agree with the Recommendation<lb></lb>
of the Committees, so far as relates to the increase in the allowance<lb></lb>

Court, Resolved that the Sum of Nine pence per head be paid</p>
