All this Court the President reported he had received the following Letter<lb></lb>
from the Clerk of these Hospitals.</p>
<p n="1182">My Lords and Gentlemen</p>
<p n="1183">"It is with extrem concern I am under the Necessity of informing<lb></lb>
"you that from severe indisposition I cannot have the Honour<lb></lb>
"of attending the Court tomorrow for the Election of Officers for<lb></lb>
"the ensuing Year"</p>
<p n="1184">"I beg leave to return my most sincere thanks to<lb></lb>
"the Court, and the Gentlemen of the different Committees, for<lb></lb>
"their great indulgence in having permitted my Son to attend<lb></lb>
"for me during my illness, and hope my Personal attendance<lb></lb>
"upon the present occasion will be dispensed with, and that<lb></lb>
"I shall have the Honour of being re-elected Your Clerk.</p>

"Health will be re-established to enable me to return to my<lb></lb>
