<p n="4212">Continued Tuesday 26th. June 1792.</p>
<p n="4213"> <note type="authorial" place="margin">Officers in future give satisfactory<lb></lb>
security for the faithful performance of<lb></lb>
the Trusts reported in them</note>
</p>
<p n="4214">time afterwards give ample and satisfactory security for the faithful performance <lb></lb>
of the various Trusts confided to them fully adequate to the value of those Trusts<lb></lb>
and to the utmost extent of the sums of Money belonging to these Hospitals which<lb></lb>
may or can at any one time remain in their Hands so that the Hospitals may<lb></lb>
not incur any risk of sustaining a loss such securities to be given to the President<lb></lb>
and two other Governors to be approved by the Court for the use of the Hospitals<lb></lb>
and produced at the first General Court after the Election or Pre-election of each<lb></lb>
Officer whether annual or otherwise</p>
<p n="4215"> <note type="authorial" place="margin">Officers, none to be security for<lb></lb>
another or for any Patient</note>
<lb></lb>
Resolved that no Officer be security for any other Officer or patient and that<lb></lb>
all securities for Officers be referred for examination to the House Committee and<lb></lb>
approved by the General Court and as soon as executed and recorded in the<lb></lb>
Court Book be deposited in an Iron Chest with three different Locks the Keys of<lb></lb>
which shall be kept by the President Treasurer and one other Governor appointed<lb></lb>
by the Court.</p>
<p n="4216"> <note type="authorial" place="margin">President not to suffer any Motion to<lb></lb>
be made for rescuiding Rules or Order<lb></lb>
or for making new rules until same be<lb></lb>
recommended for discussion by one of the<lb></lb>
comittees and notice given at a former Court<lb></lb>
and that the some shall have been carried<lb></lb>
by two hands of the Govrs present it two<lb></lb>
sucessive General Courts</note>

<p n="4217">Resolved that the President or Chairman do not suffer any Motion to be made<lb></lb>
for rescuiding or altering any of the standing Rules and Orders of the Hospitals<lb></lb>
or for making any new Rule or Order inconsistent there with except the same<lb></lb>
shall have been recommended for discussion by one of the Committees and notice<lb></lb>
thereof have been given at a former Court and that no standing Rule or Order be<lb></lb>
rescuided or altered or any new Rule or Order made until the Motion shall<lb></lb>
have been carried by two thirds of the Governors present at two successive<lb></lb>
General Courts</p>
<p n="4218"> <note type="authorial" place="margin">President or Chairman to have a double<lb></lb>
or casting Vote at Courts and Comittees<lb></lb>
in case of equality and that the commencement<lb></lb>
to and duration be fixed by the presiding<lb></lb>
Officer and that same continue at least one<lb></lb>
Hour and that no Govr. interests in the<lb></lb>
question be allowed to Vote</note>

<p n="4219">Resolved that in all other cases both at Courts and Committees all<lb></lb>
questions be decided by the Majority of Governors present The President or<lb></lb>
Chairman to have a double or casting Vote in case only of equality and if a<lb></lb>
Ballot be required that the presiding Officer fix the commencement and<lb></lb>
duration thereof so that the same continue at least one hour but that no Governor<lb></lb>
interested in the question before the Court be allowed to Vote.</p>

carry the question to sign their names<lb></lb>
or authorize the Clerk to record same<lb></lb>
and all Minute Books and Reports<lb></lb>
of Committees be also signed by the Govrs.<lb></lb>

<p n="4221">Resolved that in case of a division upon any question at a General Court<lb></lb>
the Majority of Governors who shall carry the question do sign their names<lb></lb>
or authorize the Clerk to Record the same as an evidence of their opinion and<lb></lb>
in like manner that all Minute-books and Reports of Committees be also<lb></lb>
signed by the Governors present at the Committee or the Majority if there be a<lb></lb>
division as a march of their concurrence therein.</p>

Minutes to be read at every Court and<lb></lb>
an abstract entered in the Court Book<lb></lb>
and that the Rough Minutes of way<lb></lb>
Court be signed by the Chairman before he<lb></lb>

<p n="4223">Resolved that the Minutes or substance of the proceedings of each<lb></lb>
Committee be read audibly at every Court and a compleat abstract of them<lb></lb>
duly entered in the Court Book and that the rough Minutes of every Court be<lb></lb>
signed by the Chairman before he leaves the Chair</p>
<p n="4224">Resolved that all the general accompts of both Hospitals be kept in a<lb></lb>
clear simple and comprehensive manner and be made up and Balanced to</p>
