to antient practice</note>
<lb></lb>
A Motion being made and seconded and the Question being put<lb></lb>
That conformable to antient practice these Hospitals be conducted by<lb></lb>
General Courts and Committees and a President Treasurer Clerks Stewards<lb></lb>
and such other Officers and Servants as may from time to time be found<lb></lb>
necessary it was carried in the affirmative</p>

in January April July and Novr.<lb></lb>
and as often as the President shall<lb></lb>
think proper and no Court to be held<lb></lb>
on the Feast Day</note>

<p n="4172">A Motion being made and seconded and the Question being put That<lb></lb>
four stated General Courts to be held in every year Vizt in January April<lb></lb>
July and November and others as often as the President shall think<lb></lb>
proper, or as the same may be required in Writing by any of the Committees<lb></lb>
or by, Nine Governors; that no Court be held out the Feast Day in July<lb></lb>
The Chair to be always taken at 12 o Clock it was carried in the affirmative</p>

to be made be given at a preceding<lb></lb>
Court and to be inserted in the Summons<lb></lb>
and that Summonses be issued at last<lb></lb>
one week before the Court Day</note>

<p n="4174">A Motion being made and seconded and the Question being put That<lb></lb>
notice of every Motion intended to be made be given at a preceding Court<lb></lb>
and that due Notices of every Court and of the Business or Motion<lb></lb>
then to be considered be always inserted in the Summons and that all<lb></lb>
Summonses be issued at least one Week before every Court Day it was<lb></lb>
carried in the affirmative</p>

to be reported Committee of Auditors<lb></lb>
up to Christmas preceding be read<lb></lb>
and that the annual Election of all<lb></lb>
Committee and Officers be at the same<lb></lb>
time all Election of Officers to be by Ballott</note>

<p n="4176">A Motion being made and Seconded and the Question being put<lb></lb>
That at the April Court the state of the accompts and affirs of the<lb></lb>
Hospitals be Reported by the Committee of Auditors and first considered<lb></lb>
the Titles and Totals of the year's accompt up to Christmas preceding<lb></lb>
with the names of the Auditors who have signed the same and that<lb></lb>
of all Tenants nine Months in a near be produced and read and that<lb></lb>
the annual Election of all Committees and Officers be made at the same<lb></lb>
Court all Election of Officers to be by Ballot and on each person seperately<lb></lb>
if so required by any three Governors present it was carried in the<lb></lb>
affirmative</p>

<p n="4178">A Motion being made and seconded and the Question being put That a<lb></lb>
sufficient Number of Governors in Relation resident within 20 Miles of London<lb></lb>
according to their priorty of Election as Governors to serve upon the different Committees<lb></lb>
be wide to by the Clerk One Month before the Day of Election of New Committees<lb></lb>
signifying to them that they stand in Rotation to serve upon the Commitees for the<lb></lb>
ensuing year and requesting an Answer from them in Widing before the Election<lb></lb>
whether they chuse to serve upon the Committees or not that in case of their<lb></lb>
refusal other Governors may be named in their places. That in case of refusal<lb></lb>
the dificiency be named out of the Governors present in Court on the day of<lb></lb>
Election of the Committees. That the Names of the Governors so nominated to serve <lb></lb>
upon the Committees be their put seperately into one Box and the Stiles of the<lb></lb>
different Committees into another Box and be drawn out against each other<lb></lb>
and the Committees founed accordingly it was carried in the affirmative and it<lb></lb>
was agreed that this New mode of electing the committees should be deferred until April 1793.</p>
