Husband being attached to his Majesty and the British Governmt<lb></lb>
they left Georgia in 1776 when the Civil War broke out there and<lb></lb>

where they resided until<lb></lb>
some Time after Georgia was reduced by the Kings Troops when<lb></lb>
they removed to Dominica and continued there until her Husband<lb></lb>
became a Lunatic and unable to follow his Profession on which your<lb></lb>
Petitioner embarked for this Country and arrived here about 2 Months<lb></lb>
ago with her Husband and Children but never gained any<lb></lb>
Settlement. That your Petitioner is reduced to the greatest Distress<lb></lb>
having three Children and being for advanced in her Pregnancy and<lb></lb>
quite unable to support the Expence of having her Husband confined<lb></lb>
in a private Madhouse. Humbly Prays your Worships<lb></lb>
will be pleased to give Directions for his being received as a Patient<lb></lb>

Settingforth That your Petitioners and their<lb></lb>
Prodecessors have immemorially received Perquisites of the Governors<lb></lb>
at Christmas and as the Beadles of the other Hospitals are allowed<lb></lb>
something in Lien thereof Your Petrs. humbly Pray that your Worships<lb></lb>
will be Pleased to take the same into Consideration and Grant your Petrs.<lb></lb>
such compensation as your Worships shall think reasonable This<lb></lb>
Court having duly weighed and Considered the said Petition is of<lb></lb>
Opinion that in future the Beadles be paid annually five Guineas<lb></lb>
each by the Clerk to Commence at Christmas last in lien of the Gratuties<lb></lb>
hitherto given them by the Governor's of these Hospitals.</p>
