<p n="5508">Continued Wednesday 26th. Augt. 1778.</p>
<p n="5509">Doors of those who are thus confined in the Summer time<lb></lb>
that the circulation of fresh Air be in no ways impeded.</p>
<p n="5510">That he shall observe the glazing and Wires belonging to<lb></lb>
the Windows be kept tight and in good Order and Cause the<lb></lb>
Men and Maids to take away any Rags or other nasliness that<lb></lb>
may be thurst there and which shall look unseemly to the<lb></lb>
Streets.</p>
<p n="5511">That he shall take care a proper quantity of Coals be<lb></lb>
distributed to the Rooms where Fires are allowed direct the C<obscured></obscured>
ters<lb></lb>
to be sifted and suffer no waste to be thereof or therein.</p>
<p n="5512">That he shall Advertize the Weekly Committee if any repairs<lb></lb>
are wanting that Notice thereof may be given to the Surveyor.</p>
<p n="5513">That he shall go down into the Kitchen on every Tuesday<lb></lb>
Thursday and Saturday in the morning time enough to see the<lb></lb>
Provisions that are taken in that they are according to the<lb></lb>
Contract and laid ready for the Inspection of the governors if any<lb></lb>
come to View them. if none come he shall see them weighed himself<lb></lb>
and enter them down in his Book to be seen and examined by the<lb></lb>
Committee on Saturday.</p>
<p n="5514">That he shall number the pieces of Meat before they are put<lb></lb>
into the Pot that the Assistant Basket Man or other such Person<lb></lb>
who Cuts up the Dinner may acquaint the Steward with the<lb></lb>
number of Pieces Cut up to see if their Accounts tally.</p>
<p n="5515">That he shall take care that no more Provisions are drest<lb></lb>
than are necessary for the Servants and the Patients of the House<lb></lb>
and in Order to know this with more certainly the Number of<lb></lb>
Patients who are on the sick List shall constantly hang up in<lb></lb>
the cutting Room.</p>
<p n="5516">That he shall not suffer the small Beer Celler to be opened<lb></lb>
but at the usual Hours nor any Person to draw Beer but the<lb></lb>
Assistant Basket Man and he is to draw only one Hour at<lb></lb>
Dinner and half an Hour at supper, That he take the Book<lb></lb>
down into the Cellar every Saturday than the Committee may see<lb></lb>
what Beer has been received and what has been drank the preceds<lb></lb>
Week.</p>
