necessity of borrowing £65..4s. towardefraying the Expences<lb></lb>
aforesaid from Lady Day 1776 to Lady Day 1777. &<lb></lb>
praying the same Additional Sum of £36.. to enable<lb></lb>
them to pay of part of the said Debt" It is Ordered that <lb></lb>
the said Petition be referred to the House Committee that<lb></lb>
they do consider the same and report their Opinion thereon<lb></lb>

Viztn. Resolved that the President treasurer and governors<lb></lb>
of the Hospitals of Bridewell & Bethlem be requested by<lb></lb>
this Committee not to Grant any Lease or enter into any<lb></lb>
Agreement for a Lease of the House in Bridewell Precinct<lb></lb>
known by the Name of the Acorn Alehouse, as this Committee<lb></lb>
are of Opinion it will be necessary to take down the said<lb></lb>
House in Order to make a New Street from Blackfriers<lb></lb>
Bridge to the TempleOrdered that Mr. Compbroller<lb></lb>
Attend at the General Court of the said President<lb></lb>
treasurer and governors to be held to Morrow at Bridewell<lb></lb>
Hospital and make the said request" And it being<lb></lb>
represented to this Court that the said House was<lb></lb>
already Let by the House Committee It is Ordered that<lb></lb>
it be referred to them to return the Committee of City Lands<lb></lb>

Vizt. One part being Houses late in Lease to one Bailey which<lb></lb>
have been Cut through and in part taken down and the other<lb></lb>
a Yard belonging to the Reverend Mr Wight The Consideration<lb></lb>
to be paid by the Bridge Committee is for Bayleys premises<lb></lb>
