<p n="3772">Continued Monday 29th. May 1775</p>
<p n="3773">declare the same mentioning in the Summons the Occasion of calling it<lb></lb>
and that he take care to have the Summons for the General Court to Elect<lb></lb>
a Successor issued at least a fortnight before such Election</p>
<p n="3774">treasurer</p>
<p n="3775">That every future treasurer give Security himself and two Sureties<lb></lb>
Jointly and severally Bound in £5000 The Sureties to be approved by<lb></lb>
the House Committee and a General Court.</p>
<p n="3776">That in lieu of a House, he be allowed Fifty Pounds a Year, and the Room<lb></lb>
adjoining to the Perk's Office a Fire to be kept there. whenever he shall<lb></lb>
direct at the Expence of the Hospital.</p>
<p n="3777">That he have Liberty to Appoint one Governor Annually.</p>
<p n="3778">That he lay his Accounts before the House Committee once a Quarter and<lb></lb>
before a General Court once a Year Vizth. at the April Quarterly Court.</p>
<p n="3779">That it belong to his Office. generally to receive and pay all Sums to be<lb></lb>
received and paid on behalf of these Hospitals and particularly that he pay<lb></lb>
all Bills as soon as the same shall be duly Audited and that he pay<lb></lb>
each Steward Weekly a Sum in Advance sufficient to defray the Weekly<lb></lb>
Expences of each Hospital.</p>
<p n="3780">That he enter in a Book all Notices of Legacies: and on the other Side<lb></lb>
when those Legacies are paid. And that he report to every General Court.<lb></lb>
all Legacies and Benefactions received since the former Court That as often<lb></lb>
as the Office of treasurer shall be vacant the Duty and Authority of that<lb></lb>
Office shall develop on the House Committee</p>
<p n="3781">Auditor General</p>
<p n="3782">That before the End of March in each Year he Audit the Accounts up<lb></lb>
to the Christmas preceding and inform the next Court of his having so done</p>
<p n="3783">Clerk</p>
<p n="3784">That he give Security (as usual) himself and two Sureties jointly<lb></lb>
and severally bound in £2000. The Sureties to be approved by the<lb></lb>
House Committee and a General Court.</p>
<p n="3785">That after having paid the usual Salarys He pay the Surplus to the<lb></lb>
treasurer.</p>
<p n="3786">That Lists of governors be printed at the House Expence and be<lb></lb>
given to governors and Candidates</p>
<p n="3787">That for the future the Clerk's Salary be £300 a Year and no<lb></lb>
Perquisites payable by the Hospitals.</p>
