<p n="3736">We the said Committee having endeavoured to inform<lb></lb>
ourselves fully of the State of the two Hospitals. and all the concerns<lb></lb>
of the same; and in Order thereto, having, by a Sub Committee.<lb></lb>
viewed all Parts of both Hospitals and the Precinct of <rs type="placeName" id="BBBRMG20208_geo2318">Bridewell</rs>

examined view voce. most of the Officers and Servants belonging to<lb></lb>
the Hospitals; caused all Maps and Plans now Subsisting of<lb></lb>
the several Estates of each Hospital to be laid before us, as also,<lb></lb>
Extracts from the Books of the Hospitals, as well of the Report of a<lb></lb>
former Select Committee of Enquiry concerning the Arts Masters<lb></lb>
and Apprentices, as of the General Regulations formerly made for<lb></lb>
the better Government of the <rs type="placeName" id="BBBRMG20208_geo2319">Hospital of Bethlem</rs>

and of the Duties<lb></lb>
Salaries and Perquisites of the various Officers, Servants and<lb></lb>
others belonging to both Hospitals (all which Extracts are herewith<lb></lb>
Submitted to the Court) are of Opinion, that the following Rules<lb></lb>
and Regulations are proper to be now adopted.</p>
<p n="3737">General Courts</p>
<p n="3738">That four General Courts at the least be held every Year (Vizt.)<lb></lb>
One in January One in April, One in July and one in November<lb></lb>
and others as often as the President shall think proper.</p>
<p n="3739">That all Books of Accounts relating to these Hospitals be laid<lb></lb>
on the Table at every Court for the Inspection of the governors</p>
<p n="3740">That in the Summons to the Quarterly Court in April, it be<lb></lb>
mentioned that "That Court is to take into Consideration the<lb></lb>
State of these Hospitals" and that no other Business be entered on<lb></lb>
at that Court till the Clerk has and the Titles and Totals of the<lb></lb>
Years Accounts up to Christmas Preceding with the Audit thereof<lb></lb>
and the Names of the Auditors who sign it Nor till the<lb></lb>
Auditor General has reported to that Court the Names of all<lb></lb>
Tenants above Nine Months in Arrear the Sums they respectively<lb></lb>
owe their Annual Rents and in whose Collection they are and<lb></lb>
that the Report of the Auditor General be entered in the<lb></lb>
Minutes of that Court.</p>
<p n="3741">Committees</p>
<p n="3742">That this Committee be dissolved immediately after the<lb></lb>
Election of a treasurer and that a treasurer be Elected on the<lb></lb>
Feast day in July next</p>
