<p n="1653">Continued Wednesday the 26th. Novr 1766</p>
<p n="1654">of the aforesaid Repairs may be ascertained and the Petitioner is willing<lb></lb>
to treat for a New Lease of the said Premises or an Additional Term to be<lb></lb>
added to the Number of Years he has already to come thereinTherefore<lb></lb>
Praying that the Surveyor might be directed to Survey and Calculate the<lb></lb>
Expences of pulling the said Premises in such Repair as that the same<lb></lb>
might be Supported & held for 21 Years to be computed from the Expiration<lb></lb>
of the present Lease in being And that upon the Petitioners undertaking<lb></lb>
to do such Repairs in a Workman like manner an Additional Term may<lb></lb>
be Granted to him for the said Number of Years at the Rent of £10 a year<lb></lb>
or such other Rent as the <rs type="occupation" id="BBBRMG20208_occ2539">governors</rs>

reasonableThat the Surveyor having taken an Estimate of the<lb></lb>

Opinion that it would Cost £120 to Compleat such Repairs and was further<lb></lb>
of Opinion that the said Messuage and Premises were worth the Clear<lb></lb>
Yearly Rent of £20And the said Mr. Langley being called in before<lb></lb>
this Committee proposed to make the Rent £12 and being called in a Second<lb></lb>
Time said he would give £15 but afterwards proposed to give £20<lb></lb>
Whereupon the Committee having Considered the same are of Opinion that<lb></lb>
it will be for the Interest of this Hospital to Grant a Lease to the said <rs type="persName" id="BBBRMG20208_n1654-1">Thos.<lb></lb>

Clear of Land Tax and all other Taxes and Deductions he agreeing at<lb></lb>
his own Costs and Charges well and Sufficiently to repair the said<lb></lb>
Messuage or Tenement within two Years from Misdr. 1770 aforesaid<lb></lb>
& to lay out & expend £20 under the Inspection of the Hospital<lb></lb>
Surveyor & with his Approbation according to the Particulars now<lb></lb>
