by her last will dated 5th. Augst. 1701 Did (in Pursuance of the Powers<lb></lb>
by an Indre dated 6th. Octr. 1691 Reserve to her) Limit & Appoint<lb></lb>
a Messuage in Hadleigh with about 25 Acres of Land Upon Trust<lb></lb>
after the Death of her Husband & herself the sd. Trustees & their Heirs<lb></lb>
shou'd out of the Rents & profits of sd. premes Send yearly £10 without<lb></lb>
Charge or Abatement to be paid in London to Several Persons therein<lb></lb>
Named for their resptive lives to pay for ever the sd. £10 to the Governors of<lb></lb>
Christs Hospital which they shou'd lay out yearly for ever Vizt. One half for<lb></lb>
the taking into the Sd. Hospital One poor parish Child of St Giles Cripplegate<lb></lb>
LondonAnd the other half to be paid to Bethlem Hospital for the<lb></lb>
Puting in a poor Lunatick yearly whom the Governors of Christs Hospl.<lb></lb>
shall Approve of But if any poor Person shou'd be Lunatick living or<lb></lb>
born in Hadleigh such Person on a Certificate from the Minister and<lb></lb>
Churchwardens of Hadleigh to the Governors of Christs Hospital shoud<lb></lb>
be provided for in the sd. Hospl. And so to be received from Hadleigh or<lb></lb>
elsewhere forever.</p>
<p n="1709">That the Minister of St Giles Cripplegate & his Successor shoud see<lb></lb>
that one Lunatick shou'd be taken into Bethlem and one poor Child into<lb></lb>
Christs HospitalAnd referr to the Will proved in he Court of the Dean of Bocking</p>
<p n="1710">That all the Anuitants are since dead whereby the Premes are Vested<lb></lb>
in the Memorialists & their Heirs for the purposes in the sd. Will.</p>
<p n="1711">That at a Court at Christs Hospital 20th. Decr. 1753 Upon the Question<lb></lb>
put They refused to Accept the sd. Anuity It being not near Sufficient for the<lb></lb>
Maintenance of a Child in that HospitalAnd therefore Praying this<lb></lb>
Court either to Accept the said Annuity given to Bethlem Hospital Or to<lb></lb>
Disclaim the sameThis Court haveing duly weighed and<lb></lb>
Considered the same doth refuse to Accept the said Annuity of £5<lb></lb>
under the Terms and Conditions in the sd. will mentioned.</p>
