Comittee have Considered of the Case of St Brides Parish Setting forth<lb></lb>
That the Hospital of Bridewell with the Precinct here of was heretofore<lb></lb>
a Royal Pallace and Granted by the Crown to the City of London and to<lb></lb>
part used as an Hospital for the Reception of Handy Craft Freemen to<lb></lb>
take Apprentices and Instruct them in their Trades and other part for<lb></lb>
the reception of Vagrants and other loose and Disorderly person<lb></lb>
where they are set to Work and the Precinct is Leased out<del>art</del>
and<lb></lb>
Contains above 100 HousesThat the said Hospital and Precinct hath<lb></lb>
been always esteemed Extra Parochial & have no Overseers of the Poor and is<lb></lb>
managed by Persons called Chappelwardens Therefore all Paupers who<lb></lb>
have gained Settlements by Birth or otherwise and should have been provided<lb></lb>

for by the Inhabitants there when they become Chargeable to any other<lb></lb>
place or Parish are Obliged to be Maintained by such Parish which is<lb></lb>
a great inconvenience to the Parishs in and about Loudon and<lb></lb>
& particularly to Saint Brides the Adjoining Parish</p>
