different Offences mentioned in the Act and for which an Action is given to be brought in the<lb></lb>
name of the Chamberlain and the Act<obscured></obscured>
That one Merely of all<obscured></obscured>
served<lb></lb>
by Virtue of the Act shall after Receipt thereof be paid and delivered to the Trear of the Hospital<lb></lb>
of Bridewell for the use of the said HospitalThat 4th. of Septr. 1747 An Action was brought<lb></lb>
on this Act against Mr Lincold Shadwell and on the 10th. of Octr. following the Cause was<lb></lb>
Fired and a Verdict given against him and on the 20th. of Octr. The penalty of £3 recovered and<lb></lb>
Costs of Suit was paid to Mr. Hussey the Attorney for the pttThat many other Actions<lb></lb>
have of late Years been brought against<obscured></obscured>
of London upon this<obscured></obscured>
and on some<lb></lb>
Cases the prosecutor who is aways some Observe Person has<obscured></obscured>
with the Dept for<lb></lb>
a Small Sume & in other Cases the whole penalty has been paid but not one Penny has never<lb></lb>
yet been paid to the use of Jude on the Hospital as he could Corn and hereby the Act of Comon<lb></lb>
Council is made an ill us of the Hospital defrauded and the City<obscured></obscured>
Whereupon<lb></lb>
It is Ordered that the Steward do Ask Mr. Hussey why he has not paid So part of the said<lb></lb>
penalty of £5 recovered against Mr. Shadwell to the Trear of this Hospital land desire the said<lb></lb>
