This Comee in pursuance of an Order of Court of the 25th. day of June<lb></lb>
last past have viewed the Stove Rooms in the <rs type="placeName" id="BBBRMG20204_geo765">hospital of Bethlem</rs>

which we find too Little & wee are of Opinion that two more Convenient<lb></lb>
Rooms each 30 foot by 22. or thereabouts may be made the one at the<lb></lb>
East the other at the West end of the said hospital and we have<lb></lb>
discoursed the workmen thereon and according to their estimates we<lb></lb>
find the Charge thereof will be as followeth vizt</p>

A Representation Subscribed by Severall Master Engine Weavers<lb></lb>
Setting forth That there are at Least 20. Masters and 130 Journey<lb></lb>
men within the Citty and Suburbs of <rs type="placeName" id="BBBRMG20204_geo766">London</rs>

<interp inst="BBBRMG20204_geo766" type="type" value="undefined"></interp>
and that many of the Journey<lb></lb>
men for want of Employment are become objects of Charity That to prevent<lb></lb>
the growth of which Calamity for the future the Weavers Company<lb></lb>
have orderd that no Mar Shall keep above three apprentices at a<lb></lb>
time which is a Standing rule So that 20. Masters will in 7 years being<lb></lb>
up but 60 persons whereas the three Masters in this hospital will being<lb></lb>
up 30 which is a great inequality and go persons being brought up<lb></lb>
every 7 years will Clog and rame the Trade and many of their familys<lb></lb>
will become Chargeable to their parishes That those bred up in the<lb></lb>
Engine are not Capable of workeing in any other Branch of the weaveing<lb></lb>
Trade whereas other <rs type="occupation" id="BBBRMG20204_occ1941">Weavers</rs>

are capable of learning to work in the Engine</p>
