<p n="1815">said Mr Justice Whistler being prsent in Court and referring himselfe<lb></lb>
to the Court for what encouragement they think fitt to give him to<lb></lb>
rebuild the same Prmisses It is Ordered by this Court That he<lb></lb>
duely paying his Rent reserved for the Hosplls and well & substantially<lb></lb>
new building wthin two yeares according to the second rate of building<lb></lb>
appointed by Act of Parliament for rebuilding of the City of London<lb></lb>
so many Front houses as were burnt downe and spoiled by the sd<lb></lb>
late Fire and the back houses and warehouses within the same time<lb></lb>
as well and substantially and of the like value as they were before<lb></lb>
the sd Fire leaveing the street and lanes next every new building<lb></lb>
20 Foot broad and upwards and fronted with houses upon an Evey<lb></lb>
rainge and Surrendering his old Lease or Leases of the prmisses to be<lb></lb>
Cancelled, shall have a New lease of the Prmisses wth an Addicon of<lb></lb>
19 yeares to his former terme or termes as an Increase of his Terme<lb></lb>
For his encouragement to build the same well and substantially<lb></lb>
wth the like Covenants Condicons and Provisoes as were in his former<lb></lb>
lease and with a further Covenant not to lett the Prmisses or any part<lb></lb>
thereof to a Tallow Metter nor for a Road stack Or Bavin stack<lb></lb>
unless enclosed with Brickwalls on penalty of double his Rent<lb></lb>
yearly And if any difference shall arise betweene him and his<lb></lb>
Under tenants the same by his consent shall be determined by the<lb></lb>
Governors or any twelve of them whereof the Prsident or Trear<lb></lb>
to be our and sealeing Counterparts of such lease with bonds to<lb></lb>
performe Covenants wherewith he being made acquainted thankfully<lb></lb>
accepted thereof And promised to build seale do and performe the<lb></lb>
same accordingly And that his Under tenants If any shall have a<lb></lb>
proporconable allowance as he hath from the Governors And as an<lb></lb>
Acknowledgement of this Favour gave two guyneas to the Poors<lb></lb>

Fire And upon Report of the sd Comitee wch being made to the effect<lb></lb>
following Vizt. that the same Prmisses were purchased by the sd Mr<lb></lb>
Drake of this Hospll of Bridewell about two yeares since for £900 and<lb></lb>
cost £300 more repaireing That his lease is dated the 23th of Aprill<lb></lb>
1675 to Comence from Midsomer then last for 71 Years at £25 P<lb></lb>
Annm so there is 42 years to come And that none of them were upon<lb></lb>
Lease (but 5 ensured) and will cost building £1050 besides the money<lb></lb>
Ensured as aforesd And the sd Mr Drake being Prsent in Count And<lb></lb>
referring himselfe to the Court for what Encouragement they think<lb></lb>
fitt to give him to rebuild the same. It is Ordered by this<lb></lb>
Court that he duely paying his rent reserved for the Hospll and<lb></lb>
well and substantially Rebuilding wthin two yeares according to the<lb></lb>
second rate of building appointed by Act of Parliament for rebuilding<lb></lb>
of the City of London so many Front houses as were burnt downd<lb></lb>
and spoyled by the said late Fire leaveing the streets and Lanes<lb></lb>
next every new building 20 foot broad and upwards and fronted</p>
