213. JOHN CHRISTIAN proceedingsdefend and CHARLES O'HARA proceedingsdefend were indicted for feloniously stealing, on the 24th of December last, nine quarts of whale oil, value 4 s. the property of William Cowley proceedingsvictim .

The prisoner Christian was seen taking the oil in a tin bottle, in a bag. The oil deposed to, being remarkably rank.
