726. DANIEL MURPHY proceedingsdefend was indicted for procuring a person to join with him in three different notes, by the name of Patrick Murphy < no role > , in order to avoid the payment of 26 l. 10 s. in order to defraud - Wilson proceedingsvictim , May 24th .

It appeared upon enquiry to be a crime of a higher nature; the court therefore directed the jury to acquit the defendant of the fraud, and he was immediately committed by the court to take his trial at the next Session for forgery .
