I am the wife of Thomas Chapman < no role > : my husband is a coachman ; the things mentioned in the indictment hung up in an inn yard: I saw them at night, and missed them the next morning.

JANE DOGGETT < no role > sworn.

I live in One Swan-yard : I lost some things at the same time.

WILLIAM GAWSET < no role > sworn.

I was sent for to take the prisoner; I found a pair of stockings in her lodgings.

[They were produced in Court, and deposed to by the prosecutrix.]

The prisoner pawned a pair of stockings with me.
