146. Avecina Bennett proceedingsdefend , was indicted for stealing a mob, value 2 s. and a gown, value 12 s. the goods of James Farrell proceedingsvictim , Dec. 24 .

It appeared to be an ill natured prosecution; there had been a difference between the Prisoner and the wife of the Prosecutor; and the prosecutor had then on a new coat, which cloth the Prisoner had as a gift from one of the livery companies.

A clerk to a gentleman in the commission of the peace said, the Prosecutor's wife deserved to be in the place of the Prisoner. Acquitted .
