George Kennett proceedingsdefend , of St. James's Westminster , was indicted for stealing a Silk Handkerchief, value 2 s. and 2 d. on the 23d of Jan. last, being the Goods of Barbary Croft proceedingsvictim .

The Prosecutor depos'd. That she saw a Hand whip in at the Window, and the Handkerchief whipp'd out, she cry'd stop Thief; upon which he was taken, and the Handkerchief upon him, and for which the Jury brought him in guilty to the Value of 10 d .
