Mary Vickery proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Sepulchres , was indicted for feloniously stealing the Goods of Mary Ball proceedingsvictim , the 5th of this present July . The Prosecutor depos'd, she employ'd the Prisoner as a Chair Woman , and she put the Ring into a Mortar, and she having scoured the Brass, the Ring was taken away; that taxing the Prisoner with it, she deny'd it; but she found the Ring in the Prisoner's Pocket. The Fact being plainly prov'd, the Jury found her guilty to the value of 10 d. Transportation .
