Henry Murray proceedingsdefend , of St. Giles's Cripplegate , was indicted for privately stealing a Silk Handkerchief, value 2 s. from the Person of Jacob Smith proceedingsvictim , on the 10th or December last. Jacob Smith depos'd that coming down the Isle in Cripplegate Church , the People crowding thick, he thought he felt something go from him, and searching his Pocket, miss'd his Handkerchief. That he charg'd the prisoner with it, and found it upon him. The prisoner said he found it on the Ground. The Jury found him guilty to the value of 10 d.
