Ann Tompkins , alias Webb proceedingsdefend , of St. Sepulchres , was indicted for feloniously stealing 14 lb of Cocoa-Nuts, 20 Gallons of Ale and 40 s. in Money, in the Dwelling House of Mary Benning proceedingsvictim on the 20th of October last. She was a second time indicted for feloniously stealing 5 Guineas, 80 Pound of Cocoa-Nuts, 10 Pound of Chocolate, some Coffee and 12 Flasks of Florence Wine . But the Evidence not being sufficient, the Jury Acquitted her of both Indictments.
