Mr. Sims depos'd he was leading his Mare, and turning about, he saw the Prisoner take off the Portmanteau, upon which he cried out Stop Thief; and then the Prisoner threw down the Goods and ran, but he was taken before he could get out of the Evidence's Sight. There was no Defence on the part of the Prisoner, and the Jury found him
