, on the 7th Instant, in the Night-time, and stealing thence 1 Hat, value 10 s. 1 Common-Prayer Book, 2 s. with some Plates, Candlesticks, and other Goods belonging to the said David Duncomb
, It was plain, that Mr. Duncomb's House had been robb'd, and that the Prisoner H - T - broke it, and stole the Goods aforesaid, some of which were found in his Room; who being taken, confess'd the Fact before a Justice; as did also the Women: There was another concern'd, but he is not yet taken. They made no manner of Defence, but a flat Denial; and the Jury taking the Affair into their Consideration brought H - T - in
