Elizabeth Sull proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. James Westminster , was indicted for feloniously stealing the Body of a Velvet Scarf, some Shirts, Handkerchiefs, and other Goods , from Timothy Merriman proceedingsvictim , on the 1st of March last. Mrs. Merriman could not swear the Fact positively upon the Prisoner; who brought some Persons that gave her a very good Character; therefore she was acquitted .
