, was indicted for
stealing a Trunk with several Clothes, out of the House of
Ann

, on the 3d. Instant. It appear'd, That these were three Men seen to go into the House, (of which the Prisoner was describ'd to be one) and afterwards come out again with a Trunk; and being pursu'd the Prisoner and another were overtaken; the other dropping a Bundle, wherein were the Prosecutor's Cloaths, ran away, but the Prisoner was seiz'd. He brought some Witnesses to prove he was at another Place, but that not being satisfactory to the Jury, he was found
guilty
of Felony.
