Thomas Carew proceedingsdefend , of the Parish of St. Dunstans Stepney , was indicted for stealing a silver Cup, three Perukes, and other Goods from Edward Johnson proceedingsvictim , Esq ; on the 10th of August last. Mr. Johnson depos'd, that the Prisoner being his Groom, ran away with his Goods; and being afterwards taken, they were found in his Custody. He had nothing to say for himself and the Jury found him guilty .
