stealing a Peruke, valued 3 s. and divers other Goods

last. The Prosecutor depos'd, that the Prisoner was his Lodger, and went away of a sudden, and the Goods were missing, Mrs. Clayton swearing they were in the Room the Afternoon before he went. After some enquiry, he was found in Purpool-lane, and several concurring Circumstances appearing to make him guilty, and none to his Reputation, he was found
guilty to the value of 10 d.
