Alice Pendergrass proceedingsdefend , Margaret Gill proceedingsdefend Sen. and Margaret Gill proceedingsdefend Jun: of the Parish of St. Margaret Westminster , were indicted for stealing Money and Gold to a considerable Value , from Zacheus Wisdom proceedingsvictim on the 8th of February . The Evidence was Mrs. Wisdom, who depos'd, That the Prisoners coming to see her, she miss'd her Money, which was stoln from between the Bed and the Mat; and upon Search part of it was taken in Pendergrass's, and and part in Gill's Lodging, which was produc'd in Court. The Matter being very plain against them, the two first were found Guilty , and the other being a Girl , was young acquitted .
