Examination Text | Mary Taylor aged 34 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Edmund Taylor, that since his death she lived in and rented an house in (E.Wd.) Half Moon Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of nine months at the yearly rent of 14 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about four years ago, that she hath not kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the first Day of July 1756 before Benjamin Cox. |
