Examination TextMartha Richards aged 58 years lodging at Mr Foulks's at the sign of the Horse Shoe and Magpye in that part of Burleigh Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Robert Richards (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Anne's at Westminster 26 years ago, that her said husband is a Shoemaker by trade and lived in and rented an house in New Bedford Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of six years at the yearly rent of 10 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about six years ago, that her said husband hath not kept house rented tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 19th Day of March 1767 before Peter Planck.
