Examination TextWilliam Adams aged 50 Years removed from St James upon his Oath saith that he is a Butcher by Trade that he lived in & rented apartments unfurnished to wets To Rooms & Closet upon the first Floor at their House of Mr William Collison eight Baker in Panton Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within the Liberty of Westminster of the space of Three Months and there The yearly Rents of Seventeen Pounds quitted the same Midsummer 1787 since which he hath not Rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Parliamentary or are Parochial Taxes not done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement , that he was Married to his present Wife Augusta at the Parish Church of St James Westmr July 23d 1766 by whom he hath To Children , now with him to wit Charlotte born December 23d 1785 & Michael born Sepr 29th 1790. Sworn this 15th Day of January 1791 before me Wm Hyde John Collick William Adams
