Examination TextElizabeth Dunn aged 36 Years ( removed from St Giles's ) upon her oath saith that she is the Widow of Matthew Dunn who died in July 1786 & to whom she was Married at St Martins Church November 3d 1778 that he said late Husband was a Native of of Ireland & never Kept House rented Ten Pounds by the Yearpaid any Rates nor did any Act to gain a Settlement in England , that she this Examinant before her intermarriage with her said late Husband being Single & Unmarried was a Yearly hired Seven with Mrs Margaretta Adams in Buckingham Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for the space of ffifteen Monthsunder one hiring at the Yearly Wages of Seven Pounds diet & lodging quitted the same about 14 Years ago , since which she hath not been a Yearly hired Servant in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that she hath one Child living by of said late Husband to wit Richard born of February 17thy1783.
