Examination Text | The Examination of Jane Harvey lodging at Mr Nichols near Russell Court in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields taken this 30th Day of May in the year 1785. This Examinant on her oath saith that she is 33 years of age, that she is the wife of Thomas Harvey to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St. Paul Covent Garden within the liberty of Westminster in the month of December 13 years ago, that her said husband was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Wiltshear a Cordwainer in Little Kirby Street in the liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents in the Parish of St Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex as she this Examinant hath been informed and verily believes to be true, that he her said husband never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months after his said apprenticeship, that she hath one female child not yet christened born the sixth instant now with this Examinant.
