Examination TextRebecca Johnson aged 34 years destitute of lodging on her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Edward Edwards who kept the Spring Garden Coffee House in Spring Gardens in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of eight or nine months, and then she went with her said Master's widow to Old Wills Coffee House near Scotland Yard in the said Parish and there she remained for the space of nine months longer all under one hiring at the yearly wages of eight Guineas diet and lodging, quitted the same about ten years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been in any one place as a yearly hired servant for 12 months together since.
