Examination TextElizabeth Leviss aged 43 years lodging with Mrs Rich at Mr Palmer's in Hungerford Market in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields on her oath saith that she is the widow of William Leviss (who died about eight years and an half ago), that since the death of her said husband she having no child living was a yearly hired servant to Lady Simpson in the Adelphi Buildings in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one year and an half all at one time and in one place at the yearly wages of 8 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about three years and an half ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 13th Day of November 1783 before Samuel Fletcher.
