Examination TextThe Examination of Elizabeth Hanna in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields taken this 10th day of November 1780. This Examinant on her oath saith that she is the wife of Alexander Hanna to whom she was married the Parish Church of St Luke Chelsea the 29th day of December in the year 1760, that she was on the fourth Day of February in the year 1779 delivered at the house of one Charles Naylor (deceased) in the Parish of St Luke Chelsea of a Male child (christened John James) yet living and is become chargeable to the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields. Sworn the day and year first above written before William Hyde.
