Examination TextFrances James aged about 42 years removed by an order of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace from the Parish of St Luke in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Wise who sold second hand cloaths in Vinegar Yard in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and 10 months all under one hiring at the yearly wages of 40 shillings diet and lodging, quitted the same about [blank] years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the [blank] Day of [blank] 1780 before [blank].
