Examination TextFrederick Glendining aged 43 Years upon his Oath saith that he lived in & rented a House in Turn Style Alley the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields within liberty of Westminster for the space of Two Years at the Yearly Rent of Eighteen Pounds beside Taxes, quitted the same about & Ten years ago since which he hath not kept House Rented a Tenement of Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Parish Taxes nor done any Act whereby to gain any subsequent Settlement & this examinant upon his Oath saith that he was Married to his present Wife Rebecca at the Parish Church of St. George Hanover Square on the 25 day of June 1779 by whom he hath issue one child to wit Jonas ffrederick aged 6 years next April now with this Examinant. // Sworn this 27th day of October 1787 before Wm Hyde // [signed Frederick Glendining] // P
