Examination TextJames Miller aged 38 years in the Workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields on his Oath saith That he was bound an apprentice by the Parish Officers of Watford in the County of Hertford by an Indenture untill he should attain the age of Twenty one years to Thomas Worcester a Muffin Maker in Phenix Alley in the said Parish of St Martin in the ffields there and in Hanover Street, he served his said Master for the space of four years and then parted by consent, That he hath not kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor been a yearly hired Servant in any one place for twelve months together since he parted from his said Master. Sworn the 19th Day of Decr. 1783 Before Tho. Bullard.
